Let us make a hiking at the Hatonosu Valley between Kori Station and Okutama Station along the Ome Line in this early July. "I would like you to enjoy the beauty of the valley between the green trees. Hiking trails are well maintained and safe. In addition, at the Shiromaru Dam in the middle of the valley, you can learn about the effectiveness of hydroelectric power generation and renewable energy, as well as the appeal of the Okutama area. You can also see the structure of the fishway that allows fish to swim up the 30m high dam.

The cumulative elevation is about the same as climbing Mt. Takao (round trip from Takao san guchi Station to Mt. Takao).
